Once Upon A Time: Using Story-Based Activities to Develop Breakthrough Communication Skills is a practical guide with no theoretical preliminaries. It does have a process model of story-based communication competencies.
The first part of the book describes techniques for using storytelling. The second gives 17 storytelling activities that include brief vignettes of actual use. The latter are summarized in an overview table.
